Description

Red raisins are small berries that grow on shrubs that can measure from 1.5m to 3m in height. They are grown in the western mountains of the country by a producer who focuses on this fruit. He therefore pays particular attention to this berry and obtains a rare quality. In terms of taste, it is a mix between the fruitiness of the Cranberry and the acidity of the currant.

When harvested, the small berries are ruby red and bursting with juice. The producer sorts the berries, washes them, then places them on very large sieves to facilitate their drying.
