OLIBA GREEN BEER is a craft beer that is unique in the world made with 7 varieties of olives native to Pallars Jussà. It is based on a Bohemian Pilsner to which the extract of the seven olives from Pallars are added, giving it a cool and highly refreshing flavour, with the olives imbuing it with herbaceous notes. It is green, totally unlike other beers on the market! It is 5 proof and gluten free. IBU (bitterness) 5.7
VISUAL APPEARANCE
The first thing to catch the eye is its striking green colour, reminiscent of freshly-extracted extra-virgin olive oil. It is a bright-looking and transparent beer with a creamy, white and persistent head.
AROMA
In its first olfactory layer we detect traces of olive and subtle olive leaf notes, while the hop provides the perfect combination of floral and spicy notes. Although we are talking about very subtle aromas, it may evoke a landscape, particularly the early-morning harvesting of olives.
FLAVOUR
It is very pleasant, mild and refreshing in the mouth, and you will notice the Pilsner malt, as well as the spicy notes of the Saaz hops. The most surprising aspects are the subtle flavours that remind us of a premium-quality extra virgin olive oil, leaving a delicate oiliness with a clean and dry aftertaste that makes you want to have another drink.
