La CHINATA is the juice of olives harvested in the county of Serra de Gata in the northwest of the province of Cáceres. In this area, only fruits with all the properties essential for obtaining a superior-quality extra virgin olive oil are harvested (above all, they must present an optimal level of ripeness, be clean, healthy and have no visible external flaws).

LA CHINATA Extra Virgin is characterised by:

• A deep yellow colour with some traces of green
• A sweet and balanced flavour, without the spiciness or bitterness that characterise the oils of southern Spain
• A very dense ripe fruit aroma
• An analysis reveals a very high content in fatty acids, making this one of the most perfect olive oils produced in the different oil-growing areas of Spain

In the county of Serra de Gata, most olives go straight for table consumption, as they are highly appreciated due to their texture and sweet flavour. The oil is obtained from olives that are too small for table consumption.
