Clos de la Torre Extra Virgin Olive Oil comes from the highest lands in the Alt Empordà (Girona), more specifically the estates are located in Albera Natural Park in the municipality of Garriguella.

Clos de la Torre is a coupage of 3 varieties:
Argudell: native to Alt Empordà, centennial olive trees
Picual: originating from Jaen, young olive trees
Frantoio: originating from Tuscany, Italy, also young olive trees

The olives are harvested early, between November and the beginning of December, in order to prevent the Tramuntana (north wind) from blowing them from the trees. After harvest, they are taken to the mill where they are pressed at a controlled temperature between 24°C and 27°C. Once the juice of the olives has been obtained, it is stored unfiltered to maintain the greatest possible degree of polyphenols.

AWARDS
In 2011 it was honoured with 2 international awards: OLIVINUS from Argentina and TERRAOLIVO from Jerusalem.
Premi GOLD MEDAL concurs TerraOlivo 2020.
