Description

White asparagus from Navarre, free of fibres and boasting the characteristic bitter touch of the Asparagus of Navarre Denomination.
These asparagus are grown on the banks of the River Ebro in Navarre and are harvested in April and June. They are harvested at night or first thing in the morning to protect them from direct sunlight.
The asparagus are produced in the traditional way: they are blanched before they are peeled to make sure that the skin retains its properties and aromas.
